Does electronics use prove that a tweezer is ESD-safe?
No. Application alone does not establish electrical performance. The exact model must have an appropriate test method, status and result before an ESD claim is used.
Which measurements should be published for every model?
Publish material, overall length, weight, tip width, tip thickness, tip geometry, finish, tension, magnetic characteristic, ESD test status and batch-inspection status. State units and measurement methods consistently.
Are ceramic tips automatically non-marring?
No. Ceramic can offer useful electrical, thermal and contact characteristics, but marking risk depends on the component surface, tip condition, force and process. Test representative parts before approval.
What does “non-marring” mean?
It should mean that a defined tip material and geometry passed the buyer’s agreed marking evaluation on a representative component. It should not be used as an unconditional claim.
Can model specifications be customised for OEM orders?
Yes. Geometry, material, finish, tension, marking and packaging can be reviewed during sampling, subject to manufacturing feasibility and an approved specification.
Should every production batch be compared with the approved sample?
Yes, when required by the agreed inspection plan. The specification revision and approved sample should remain identifiable so production checks use the correct reference.
