Semiconductor Micro-Handling Tweezers

Ultra-fine, angled, reverse-action, ceramic, non-marring and flat-tip tools for component handling, inspection, assembly and controlled rework. Compare verified dimensions, materials, tension, magnetic characteristics and ESD test status by model.

ESD status must be verified by model. Use in electronics does not by itself make a tweezer ESD-safe. Electrical claims require a stated test method, result or classification for the exact model.

Eight tool directions for controlled micro-handling

Build this collection around distinct access, contact and release requirements. Buyers should compare geometry and measured specifications before approving a tool for wafers, dies, components, sensors, optical parts or rework.

01

Ultra-Fine Straight

Direct access and fine positioning where the specified tip dimensions suit the component and permitted contact area.

02

Fine 30°

Low-angle access for inspection, positioning and handling around nearby structures.

03

Fine 45°

Angled visibility and controlled approach where a straight profile restricts operator access.

04

Reverse Action

Self-closing operation for selected holding, inspection and fixture-assisted processes.

05

Ceramic Straight

Straight ceramic contact tips for applications requiring evaluation of electrical insulation, heat response or metal-contact avoidance.

06

Ceramic Curved

Curved ceramic contact geometry for controlled access around compact assemblies and parts.

07

Non-Marring

Selected soft-contact or alternative tip materials for delicate surfaces, subject to component-level marking and compatibility tests.

08

Flat / Paddle

Broad contact geometry for parts that require distributed contact rather than a concentrated fine point.

Published model specifications

Required specification definitions

Use one controlled definition and unit convention across the collection so buyers can compare models without ambiguity.

  • Material: base alloy plus separate tip/contact material where applicable.
  • Overall length: measured end to end in millimetres.
  • Weight: individual tool weight in grams.
  • Tip width and thickness: state the measurement location and tolerance.
  • Tip geometry: straight, 30°, 45°, curved, flat, paddle or other controlled description.
  • Finish: surface treatment or coating, not a performance claim.

Performance and test fields

  • Tension: publish the test method, force range or controlled classification.
  • Magnetic characteristic: use the measured result or qualified material description; avoid unsupported “non-magnetic” claims.
  • ESD test status: use statuses such as Not tested, Test pending, Tested—result available, or Not applicable.
  • Batch inspection: state whether the agreed inspection plan applies to the production batch.
  • Traceability: connect the model, approved sample, batch and inspection record where required.

Choose by handling risk

Access and visibility

Compare straight, 30° and 45° profiles against the component location, microscope view and surrounding structures.

Contact pressure

Match tip contact area and tension to the part. Fine points concentrate force; flat or paddle tips distribute contact.

Surface protection

Validate marking, residue, particle generation, cleaning compatibility and wear on representative components.

Electrical risk

Confirm whether the workstation and component require an ESD-control tool, then approve only a model with suitable test evidence.

Thermal and chemical exposure

Review the complete tip material, adhesive or attachment system, cleaning agent and process temperature.

Operator repeatability

Evaluate grip position, spring force, release behaviour and fatigue during the actual handling cycle.

Model approval and batch control

01

Define

Record the component, contact restrictions, geometry, material, tension, magnetic and ESD requirements.

02

Measure

Document length, weight, tip width, tip thickness and relevant tolerances for each sample model.

03

Test

Evaluate handling, marking, particles, tension and electrical characteristics using the buyer’s process and test method.

04

Approve

Retain the approved golden sample, specification revision, labelling and packaging requirements.

05

Inspect

Apply the agreed batch-inspection plan and record acceptance results before dispatch.

Semiconductor Micro-Handling Tweezers FAQs

Does electronics use prove that a tweezer is ESD-safe?

No. Application alone does not establish electrical performance. The exact model must have an appropriate test method, status and result before an ESD claim is used.

Which measurements should be published for every model?

Publish material, overall length, weight, tip width, tip thickness, tip geometry, finish, tension, magnetic characteristic, ESD test status and batch-inspection status. State units and measurement methods consistently.

Are ceramic tips automatically non-marring?

No. Ceramic can offer useful electrical, thermal and contact characteristics, but marking risk depends on the component surface, tip condition, force and process. Test representative parts before approval.

What does “non-marring” mean?

It should mean that a defined tip material and geometry passed the buyer’s agreed marking evaluation on a representative component. It should not be used as an unconditional claim.

Can model specifications be customised for OEM orders?

Yes. Geometry, material, finish, tension, marking and packaging can be reviewed during sampling, subject to manufacturing feasibility and an approved specification.

Should every production batch be compared with the approved sample?

Yes, when required by the agreed inspection plan. The specification revision and approved sample should remain identifiable so production checks use the correct reference.

Evaluation Sets & Specialist Support

Measured Specifications & Sample Approval

Request the record for the exact model and revision: measured length, weight, tip/contact width, thickness, closing force at a defined opening and grip position, material identification and model-specific test status. Catalogue dimensions are nominal unless supported by a measurement record. Pending measurements or tests do not mean passed.

Evaluate alignment, edge condition, pickup and release using representative parts. Agree permitted contact zones, acceptance criteria and an identified reference sample before bulk ordering. ESD, magnetic response, temperature, cleanliness and non-marring performance require evidence for the exact configuration.

Wholesale, OEM & Private Label

Discuss model selection, laser branding, numbered tools, protective cases, care cards and distributor assortments. Custom geometry and materials are subject to feasibility and sample approval. Sample cost, MOQ, lead time, delivery and bulk pricing are confirmed in your quotation.

Model-Level Measurement and Evidence Status

As of 5 October 2026: no physical-sample measurement reports have been supplied for the models below. Product names and listed dimensions are catalogue identifiers or nominal specifications, not verified measurement results. Each individual tool in an evaluation set requires its own record.

Record overall length (mm), weight (g), tip/contact width and thickness (mm), contact geometry, closing force (N) at a defined opening and grip position, material identification, sample/lot reference, inspection date and model-specific test status. ESD, magnetic response, cleanliness, temperature and non-marring results remain unverified unless the exact-model report exists.
