Aquascaping Tool Set RFQ: Steel, Case, Incoterms and Shipping
An aquascaping tool-set quotation should define the tools and the commercial delivery scope. “One stainless set with case” leaves unanswered questions about models, declared steel, finish, case construction, packaging, shipment responsibility and the Incoterm version used.
List every component by model
Specify the quantity and model of straight tweezers, curved tweezers, scissors, spatula or other tools. Include length, tip profile and finish. Use the aquarium tweezers collection and related scissors as starting points, then confirm the actual set configuration.
Request a clear material declaration
Ask for the declared steel or substrate for each component and decide what supporting record is appropriate. Do not accept “stainless” as a substitute for an agreed grade when grade matters to your application. If finish or coating is present, identify it separately.
| RFQ field | Required detail | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Tool schedule | Model, length, profile and quantity | Prevents incomplete set quotations |
| Material | Declared grade or specification and evidence level | Separates verified information from assumptions |
| Case | Material, dimensions, retention method and branding | Defines protection and presentation |
| Packaging | Inner pack, master carton and label fields | Supports freight planning |
| Incoterm | Named rule, named place or port and version | Clarifies cost and risk allocation |
| Shipping data | Carton count, weight and dimensions after confirmation | Supports freight comparison |
Specify the protective case
State whether the case is fabric, molded or another construction; whether wet tools may be stored; how each instrument is retained; and where the logo appears. A case sample should be tested for fit, closure, abrasion and transit protection.
Incoterms need a named place
Do not request only “FOB,” “CIF” or another abbreviation. State the agreed Incoterms rules version and the named place, port or destination. Buyers and sellers should confirm responsibilities for export clearance, main carriage, insurance, import clearance, duties and final delivery with qualified logistics advisers.
Compare shipping options using the final pack
Freight estimates made before case and carton approval may change. Request confirmed packed weight, dimensions and carton quantity, then compare courier, air or sea options for the destination. Avoid treating a preliminary estimate as a delivery guarantee.
Request a set-specific RFQ
Send every required tool model or SKU, length and quantity; declared steel requirement; preferred case; logo and label files; total sets; destination city and country; requested Incoterm with named place; target date; and whether a complete approval sample is required before production.
